Immortality. The very idea seems impossible, and for a while it was. But in the year 7040 nothing is impossible, especially immortality. All it takes is a simple microchip to live forever. Humans are dead. They've been gone for six thousand years, leaving behind the machines they built when they all managed to kill each other. Machines do not die until their reactors corrupt, and they can go on for thousands of years before falling apart. Machines start from the original systems (they're poorly made androids), and then they started giving them names. Iskil, the most dangerous machine known to date, is one of the oldest systems that still stands, and he claims that he could never die. Whether that's true or not, he's behind bars, and there's no way to escape. Will Iskil stay there until all machines expire, or will he somehow get out?
