True story.
I heard the story of Miriam many years ago in an interview that would probably have been lost in history, but from the first moment I knew it had to be written. I could not let it go.
So, under the influence of Anne Frank's diary, I travelled around 80 years back in time to write a diary from Miriam's point of view as a child.
I decided to publish the diary because it was the promise I had given her, in the hope that it was never really too late...to live only among the words left behind.

They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... While fleeing Germany he and Gretchen must stay close and comfort each other.
