I wrote this originally as a satire fic about a redneck girl in a Hogwarts setting. It grew into a deeper story and now I have five books that I decided to share. The story becomes darker as Cassandra gets older. Synopsis: Cassandra Hawthorne is your typical Southern belle-charming, determined, and fiercely proud of being an American. After a tragic event shakes her family to its core, she decides to join the foreign exchange program, leaving behind her familiar life. She's sent to Hogwarts, where she's sorted into Slytherin and begins a new chapter in a world filled with magic, mystery, and rivalries. At Hogwarts, Cassandra meets a cast of intriguing characters, including Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, and a mysterious Geordie boy named Oliver Forster. She also finds herself under the guidance of a secretive mentor whose intentions remain unclear. As she struggles to adapt to her new life, Cassandra must confront her past-both the tragedy that led her here and the troubling secrets that threaten to follow her. She also realizes her upbringing in the South might be more of a hindrance than a help as she navigates the treacherous waters of Slytherin house. Will the weight of her family's demands set her on a dangerous path, or will she find a way to escape it before it consumes her? Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter (duh!) or any other name brands that may be mentioned throughout my story. ;) My original characters, Cassandra Violet Hawthorne and Oliver Ambrose Forster are mine.
