Safety is an instinct of the human mind.
Revolution is an instinct of the human soul.
Artius: Full of the latest technology, the trendiest fashions,
the sexiest people, and the best security force there is.
It's a sparkling metropolis that could very easily be
compared to paradise.
But little do the people of Artius know or care that their
beloved city is merely a façade. Concealed by all of the
intricacies and delicacies of city life is a warped system where
anyone not rich enough to keep up with the times is sent to the
Outcity: a place full of scum and hard labor.

The only thing the city folk do know about the outcity people
is that they're dirty, poor, and not worth the resources
they use. So when the Agents spring their campaign promising to
degrade the outcity dwellers even further while boosting the city
people higher and higher, they are an instant hit. The reason?
Cedrik Shields, the most charismatic speaker in Artius.

But in the shadows works a different force. It's the
stirrings of a rebellion, so faint that you might think you
imagined it. But it's there. They work in secret, forming
connections and alliances with all the people who feel that the
Agents are one thing: trouble. Bain O'Neal lives in the
city, but he knows that the Agents are bad news, so he
coordinates with the outcity force in the hopes that they'll
be able to mass together a Rebellion. But on one of his runs,
he's caught by the Agents.

To fight for justice in a world that wants nothing more than to
bury you in a deep hole and never look your way again is a hard
thing. But those who revolt must always remember one thing: "All
the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time
has come."- Victor Hugo

"Goddess," he begged. "Please help me protect my people." "God," Another one prayed in the front seat of his truck. "Please help me keep my kids safe." "They're all I have left." They both spoke in unison, reaching the ears of their respective deities. They were both some of the strongest men of faith, going through so much hardship. While one tries to protect their home, another seeks to find a safe one for his family. "I believe it's time," She spoke to the woman next to her. High in the sky they floated, their dresses dancing in the moonlight. While her dress was one with the beams of soft white light, the other woman had a dress of gold, showing the sunlight that she mainly stayed in. Her wings were pure white, her hair a vibrant red. She had much color, while she kept with the soft colors of the moon, her own hair white and long, soft as silk. "I can't promise that it will be perfect in the beginning," the angel spoke, looking down at the man in the truck. "But he is of a kind heart, even if it is untrusting at first." "I'm sure Declan can handle that," the Goddess of the Moon smiled at her. "Out of all the challenges he has faced, I'm positive that this won't be difficult for him to achieve." "Out of all the challenges that my soldier has faced," the angel grew a worried look. "I'm worried that this might be the most difficult." *** Wolf Peak has many tales of good and bad, but never has it struggled as much as it was right then. At this point, they're willing to take any chances they can to save their residents from evil in the forests. Even if that means trusting a new family coming into town. With clashing religions and trigger fingers, both men are in for a bumpy ride.

"Hey, who are you?" I could tell he wasn't trying to scare him off while still trying to establish the fact that we could hurt him if we wanted to. "I was gonna ask you the same question," he replied. "But since to beat me to it, I'm Eli. I'm just a seventeen-year-old kid out here alone. Y'all seem to be in the same situation." His southern accent was thick but definitely not South Carolinian. It sounded more like he was from Alabama or Mississippi. "True. For how long?" "Four weeks. I ran away because of...circumstances," he said, trailing off on the last word. "Prove to us you're not dangerous," Marcus threatened. "Prove to me you're not dangerous," Eli countered. "I don't even know your names." "Fine. I'm Marcus, that's Peyton, Luke, and Aaliyah," he answered, gesturing toward each of us as he spoke. I could tell he didn't trust the guy, but he seemed good enough. He hadn't said anything to make us distrust him, but he also hadn't said anything to make us trust him. "Look, dude, I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm looking for something a friend told me about a few weeks ago. She said there was a whole network of teens out here, but there's a camp somewhere in Florida that gives them a place to stay. Secret, of course, and run by teens, but anyway, it seems safer than being out here and living off the land." "Wait, you mean there are more of us?" I asked. ☁ Three teenagers find themselves rejected by their families after they're all unexpectedly outed on the same night. With the help of their friend, they head to the streets in search of freedom and acceptance. Along the way they meet another boy, and there's more to him then they could have ever guessed. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.
