Cammie Scar was born in a science lab , for six years they experimented on her, changed her DNA and made her a stronger being. They called this the Project Hero but it was no hero project. There was no people being saved only people with moon tattoos being picked off one by one and getting killed unless they thought you were worth saving and she was the first of their project hero subjects which puts her at the top of the list for not agreeing to give into the weapon inside her . After watching her family die out one by one cammie had nothing left to fight for and she gave in trying to hide what she really was inside . But now she has a group of people who are just like her. They put their lives at risk to stay with her and protect her. Will she let them help her? or will she shut them out and build her wall higher? Will she finally let someone in? The scientists and the projects working for them are after her to kill her if she refuses or drag her back to hell if she chooses to go willingly if it meant saving everyone she's ever cared for. Will she survive? Will she stay with the people she cares about and loves to fight and let them risk their lives? Or will she turn and fight them all herself and risk her own life so none of the others die? And is this really the time to fall in love when you're running for your life?

Aubrey Griffin lives and breathes basketball. As one of the faces of UConn's elite women's team, she's used to pressure, expectations, and the constant pursuit of perfection. But behind the highlight reels and media attention, Aubrey feels the grind of it all wearing her down. Her heart still beats for the game, but the joy that once came so easily now flickers under the weight of relentless competition. Across campus, Alison is making waves of her own. As UConn's star goalie, she's undefeated, unshakable, and laser-focused. Her technique is flawless, her confidence intimidating, and her walls? Unbreakable. Ranked top three in the country, Alison is used to being in control, in and out of the goal cage. She doesn't let people in-not when the stakes are this high, not when she's come this far on her own. And definitely not when feelings are involved. Their paths rarely cross until a university-wide campaign puts them side by side as ambassadors for women in sports. What starts off as a polite collaboration quickly turns into a tug-of-war between two high-achieving, guarded athletes. Aubrey finds herself unexpectedly fascinated by Alison's cool demeanor and discipline. Alison can't ignore Aubrey's fire-the way she pushes forward, even when it hurts. The more time they spend together, the more their walls crack, exposing insecurities, ambition, fear... and something else neither of them is ready to name. In a quiet moment beneath the stadium lights, a late-night conversation turns into something intimate. Hands brush. A look lingers too long. A kiss changes everything. What follows is a slow, magnetic unraveling: Facetime calls from hotel rooms. Studying late at the library but not getting anything done. Secret sideline touches. Shared vulnerability behind closed doors. But neither of them can ignore the looming reality of their careers-and what it means to let someone close in a world that demands perfection.
