Alnya Peters has a weird addiction. She eats people live. She loves the feeling of her skin being stretched as they struggle within her. Her mother finally snaps, though, and sends her away to a boarding school. She makes no effort to stop her strange eating habit, though, and when she meets a boy with a stomach as big as hers, she falls head over heels for him. Johnathan can eat even more people than her at a time, and he introduces her to his two friends, who also eat people. They form a group they call the Vorelings, and she finally finds romance and a sense of belonging. But when the police show up to take the vorelings in for murder, will they be able to escape?
