"Life is like a rose bush." He was staring at the stars.

"How so?" I was confused.

He looked at me. No, not in a romantic way. He didn't look at my breasts like a regular teenage boy would. He didn't put his hand anywhere on me. He could've, but he didn't. He looked at me like a normal person. He looked into my eyes and I looked into his. His innocent, ocean blue eyes.

"Life is like a rose bush. Everything seems fine and beautiful. If you make one wrong move, you could end up in pain."

Somehow, the beauty faded from the rose bush as I ended up making a wrong move and ending up in the thorns.
