This book series is about two 14 year old siblings (One is a boy then the other is a girls)who have spent all of their lives farming with their mother. They don't know  much about their father and when ever they had asked about their dad she would change the subject. But  soon on their 15th birthday a dragon attacks their home land and that the beast toke the mother away. But before the dragon reached her she told them to go to the attic. The only difference is, is that her secret is that she's part dragon. Her sister is supposed to slay anything mystical creature especially dragons but she doesn't know her secret or her best friend's. At least not yet or him hers and you know what's funny? He's got a huge crush on her. She's also adopted so that's why she's a dragon too. Although not American. She wasn't born American anyways. They don't exactly know each other's secret as of right now and so she have no one to help her. Looks like she's on her own she never belonged with humans anyways. It skipped her mom's generation though her biological mother not that it matters just like her sister it we were left.
