Alice Peters is a girl. A normal one, she's a sophomore in high school, only ever kissed one boy, has about only 3 friends. But she's always wanted to be like the popular girls, the ones that always get accepted. Doesn't everybody? She is an athletic girl. She's tall, strong, and is good at catching. Softball tryouts are coming up, and that's exactly what she's aiming for. Logan James, a mysterious yet charming boy in her school, meets her and they can't help but clash. Nathan Prescott, Alice's cousin and beautiful violinist, have an unfinished history. Boys and clique problems are the least of Alice's problems when her school goes into lock down...while she's in the bathroom. This is everyone's worst nightmare, being locked out safety with a man that has a gun. That's pointed at your head. Alice can only think it's her trauma when she starts seeing things. But it's not.
