Callie and Clara were inseparable twins from the moment they could understand what siblings were. They have always been together and were both extremely excited when they got the same homeroom teacher their first year of highschool. They seem to have a pretty normal life at Stonebury Highschool until something goes wrong; terribly wrong. Clara is kidnapped and found later, dead. It is clear that she was brutally murdered, and her family wants revenge on whoever killed her. However, when Clara's ghost comes back and haunts Callie, it seems Callie has to be the one to get that revenge. Will Callie be able to track down the criminal without anyone knowing and put her twin's spirit to rest? Or, will she want to?

When Aaliyah Monroe wakes up in Purgatory with no recollection of who she is or how she got there, the only thing she knows is that she died. Death tells her that the only way that she can move on to the after life is by remembering her murder and finding out who would do such an awful thing to her. The person that was arrested for her murder is her ex-boyfriend, but he is supposedly innocent. When she goes back to Earth as a ghost to investigate the people closest to her, pieces of her fractured memories start to come back. She can't seem to place the sweet boy next door that she encounters, but people around her claim they were close. But why can't she remember him at all? The lines between love and obsession become skewed when people claim to be who they are not and secret identities are revealed.
