This story takes place in the year 3466, 1000 years after nuclear war struck the world. Many people died, but those who survived went through extreme genetic changes. A hidden gene was unlocked in hundreds among those who survived, this gene allowed them to control various types of magic. It took years to perfect but now people have mastery over light, dark, void, fire, earth, animal, lightning, air and acid rain. Not to mention mind manipulation and healing of course.
Lulina Decima Truvean and her twin brother Aurelianus Truvean are 17 year old mercenaries wanted for countless murders across what was once Canada. When they are caught by Nerva Leovim, an enforcer who cold decide their fate they get plunged into a battle against one of the most powerful mage's in the land. On their journey they encounter many familiar faces and fall head first into dizzying romances. The only true question is if Lulina can battle the temptations around her and secure the future of civilization, and her family's freedom/

After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof.
