Partner

Note: This is just an old idea of mine that wound up being a short(?) series. I'm not too sure what category it belongs in. Plot: This is essentially about a world where everyone has an object or animal that were with them since birth. They're called Partners. If something were to happen to a person's Partner, they'd become comatose or end up handicapped. And someone has been destroying people's Partners in a town where Nica lives. So she teams up with a new kid (and his Partner) in her class to investigate and stop the culprit.
