All schools have their stereotypes and Fernhill High is no exception..... As Abby struggles to fit into the usual high school expectations, she realises that she doesn't want to fit in, she wants to be accepted as she is, so she avoids all the groups and makes herself ...the outsider. 

After making some unexpected friends, they show her that there are more people like her in the school and not everybody has to fit into all the expectations!!!

For multiple months, the main character has been hiding themselves from this boy, Tal, because they've been scared of what Tal may think of them. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends. The main character doesn't notice all of the changes they have had, and is left alone after something big happens to Tal.
