Set in the fictional era between 1940-1960, Eunice, Delaware is the first city in the US to push toward a life of unity and equality amongst its black and white citizen. But with its long history of racial hate crimes and the years of tension looming in the minds of an older generation, that vision seems evidently impossible. Yet, this story follows the forbidden love between Miss Connie May Jeffrey, the daughter of a black activist, and Mr. Christopher Johnson, the heir to a law firm, as they struggle with the reality of being an interracial couple in a segregated society.

Running to their fate leaving their infant daughter behind. The year marks 2009 in New Orleans, and Kyrie Monroe is in search of a job as an assistant as a Obstetrician/Gynecologist right along side her boss Graham Holmes. From the moment they laid eyes on each other. They knew, something about one another seemed oddly familiar and whatever it was, they weren't going to stop obsessing over one another. Not even if Graham's father disagrees.
