'The Heat of the Glaciers' describes the adventures of a young man, John Hooverbart, born on Mars. He is a descendant of the humans that escaped from the Great Ice Age by establishing colonies on the Red Planet. John comes to the frozen Earth in the 26th century, as a member of the teams which are working on making it habitable again.
  
  It is a sci-fi writing by subject and context, but the story itself is focusing on human relations established in a hostile environment. It is about making new friends, help them on hard times, fight against nature severe conditions, and much more.All Rights Reserved

Then Brie Reyes (nee Hodges), finds herself arrested after a contentious briefing with the United States Climate Initiative Czar. Researching her absent father - who long ago left to be among the first settler of the Martian colony Selah - caused a cataclysmic shift in her life and her thinking. Meeting the half-brother born to her father after he settled on Mars may either bring her salvation or condemnation. Either way, Brie Reyes is going to Mars. Its either as a political prisoner. Or political refugee.

Being part of the forgotten generation had been a blessing in disguise. At first it did not seem so since being abandoned in space was less than desirable. Yet with every loss of life came a new one, day after day, year after year the support from the people back home dwindled as did their dreams of populating the nearby planets.
