Bows and Eros

When sixteen year old Macy wakes up in purgatory, she knows something isn't right. She was supposed to survive the surgery and live a long happy life. But when she meets an odd man named Zed, who is a reaper for the underworld, she learns she died early due to a "cosmic glitch" and her destiny is now erased. Macy is given the choice between staying purgatory forever, or becoming a servant for the Goddess Aphrodite.
But being a modern cupid isn't what Macy expects, as she is told to shoot her love arrows without any questions asked and is constantly being harassed by her boss, Eros himself. Between arranging love connections with already married men and seeing her old best friend fall for a vapid cheerleader, Macy hates her new job in the afterlife. The only redeeming element is a relationship she forms with another lost soul, the guardian name Gabe. But Things take a turn for the worse when Macy decides to disobey orders, and finds out the consequences of defying destiny might cost her the one person who's been by her side.
