Tom was always the 'weird' kid in school. He was always teased because his wings were different. Everyone else has white, or black, or even grey wings, brown wasn't that uncommon either. But no one has ever heard of colored wings before.

Tom is the singer of a semi-famous band in his small town. Tord is a diligent college student working hard to become an engineer. He's much too busy for a relationship or even going out with friends for a night out. But one Friday night his college friends manage to drag him out of his secluded dorm room to a small concert which just so happens to be Tom's. Tord doesn't fancy any of this and just wishes to go home but little does the young Norwegian know, a pair of dark, mysterious eyes have found him in the crowd and they show no sign of letting him out of their view. He doesn't talk much to anyone except a boy named Tom, who also lives at the orphanage since his parents were both killed. Tord talks so little, that even when they grow up to be in high school, he still can't talk well and has an accent, even though he has lived in Britain for 12 years.
