A caged parrot, in A basement of a Facility, the turtles sneak in the building, during their mission they hear someone singing, they go to the basement only to find a parrot talking to himself, startling the parrot and themselves.

Then next day they come back and only to befriend the parrot as he retells his story, through his eyes, trying to find is original owner, a little girl who needs him.

The turtle will try to help Paulie get to end of a thousand miles, finding the little girl who is waiting for him, to come home.

Across the Stars: Laura and the Turtles by cynthiarowely

Laura, a human girl, is abducted from Earth along with other adults and transported to a distant galaxy. She finds herself separated from her friends and taken to an alien research facility, where she becomes the subject of strange experiments.
