In an attempt to get back at Lexa for abandoning them at Mount Weather, Xavier decides to take measures into her own hands. But in the process she ends up making unlikely allies with Azgeda, and even a more unlikely enemy with her own friends. In the midst of the mayhem and heartbreak, spilled blood and healed wounds, Xavier finally realises that in order to get the second chance in life that she has been so desperately seeking, she ends up having to sacrifice the thing most dear to her.
