A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.

In her panic, she encounters a hidden magical spot on the beach as well as someone she's never seen in pointbreak before. Aries Nautica, not from this realm is here with one goal, locate the missing pod of merfolk from their home realm. And as it turns out, Icarus is their first one. Looped into a hunt for merfolk, world of magic and history of wars and spells, Icarus must get through her final year of school while keeping her new tail a secret. Along the way two new faces appear, Pandora Edge and Zagreus Flyy, who aren't as different as they may seem. Join Aries, Icarus, Pandora and Zagreus on their hunt for the missing merfolk of Izroulia.
