I am such a huge fan of the book series The Maze Runner, written by James Dashner. A close friend and I were sitting around talking about the books when she helped me come up with the idea to write my own fanfic. I decided what the storyline would be when I was sitting in class one day at my high school. (May I add I was reading The Fever Code XD).
I don't have much experience with writing or fan fiction, so maybe this turns out okay. Much editing will be done as well. Please note that I do not wish to stir any copyright issues. The only characters that are mine are the ones I add that aren't in the original series.

Newt fanfiction based off the Maze Runner book. I decided to walk through basically the whole book and add in another girl. Some parts and some of the timeline I had to change so it makes more sense but the basics are still there same so it's okay. If you didn't read the book, some parts might be confusing, just a PSA. Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
