I am such a huge fan of the book series The Maze Runner, written by James Dashner. A close friend and I were sitting around talking about the books when she helped me come up with the idea to write my own fanfic. I decided what the storyline would be when I was sitting in class one day at my high school. (May I add I was reading The Fever Code XD).
I don't have much experience with writing or fan fiction, so maybe this turns out okay. Much editing will be done as well. Please note that I do not wish to stir any copyright issues. The only characters that are mine are the ones I add that aren't in the original series.

Living in the Scorch has not been easy for (Y/n), but she manages to get by. With her father Jorge beginning to loose control of their compound, she's finding it difficult to stay. All she wants is to be free, to explore the Scorched world, but on one stormy night, she finds that some new people have survived in the Scorch and found their way to her home. It's been a while since newcomers had arrived, so this intrigues her. She then meets Thomas and his crew whom of which are trying to find the Right Arm just like her father. One boy in particular, a young sarcastic boy with great hair, catches her eye. Seeing the opportunity, (Y/n) decides to help them in exchange for being a part of their group. She has to get them through the Scorch safely to find the Right Arm, and she can't help but fall for that young sarcastic boy, but she isn't the only one with a small crush. A certain British blonde boy has fallen for their fearless leader, but with this love interest being conflicted, will Thomas return the feeling? There are challenges, people get taken, and with the flare becoming airborne, anything can happen. Will they make it to the Right Arm or will WICKED beat them to it? Or maybe, death will. (This is a Minho fanfic that is based primarily on the movies, though some aspects will be from the books.
