I, seventeen-year-old, Abigail Ritgir and my father, Angus, are now moving away to a little town called Jefferson, Texas, a town I have never even heard about. We are moving away from the only home I have ever known in Missoula, Montana. Dad had gotten a job offer, one that he didn't even need.

I took a tiny step back but the grip didn't loosen. I decided to look up and meet the eyes of who those warm and comforting hands belonged to.
