Winter, a fifteen year old teenager, struggles through life, sharing her struggle with her best friend Oakley. When tragedy strikes and Oakley is killed in an accident, Winter is left to struggle through her life alone. When Winter ends up dying as well she loses her painful memories and is sentenced to a life of watching her five year old brother flail in the pressures of everyday life and the pain of losing a sibling. Winter meets an unlikely friend in a world of uncertainty, and begins to understand why she has become what she is. Too soon her friend dissapears, and she is again left alone. Will she sink into a cloud of depression again? Or will she overcome the challenges and be able to get herself out of the endless circle of depression?
