She finds herself determined to escape his grip in any way possible, even if it means doing what he wants and pretending to like it. And as more time goes on, Max seems to be further taken by her, doing everything to try and mend bridges to get her to stay. But, she can't become complacent; that's how people die. She's found herself deep into the underbelly of life others don't know, where laws are not the same, where people are not the same. Surrounded by a pack of gun runners, thieves and murderers, she starts to question if she could ever go back to her old life. I may be bullied at school but I'm stronger than them. school is a place to escape this house. get away from max, Jacob, and lizzie and some big man that hurts us. we always try to find a way to escape but its now use. we have a window but its to far up for us to reach, even if I stood on Britt's shoulders. plus the window is barricaded from the inside and out. and the fact that we have tracking devises in our hips. oh and since the day I was nine I could never talk... why? well you'll have to read my story to figure that out...
