(Prologue)
In the land of Rictus, people were divided by social classes. Not the typical ranking by some old school medieval type. Yuck. They reconsidered and erased the thought of having slaves and higher being of humans. Instead, they wanted to change for the better.

Rictus was the land of riches and fame. It was a known city filled with knights and soldiers trained by the strongest leaders and went through vigorous training. Everything was good, the food, the environment, the atmosphere but the only problem was the government. They were defense freaks and wanted 100% protection causing the village to be divided. King Dalius II made different sanctums and assigned different people in each place.

But, because of this, the people were not united. Weak people were in one place causing them to be raided frequently. The strong ones were sent to work tirelessly everyday. The city was in havoc wanting freedom but the government leaders trapped them in their areas by creating large walls that circled around the townspeople.

Due to their weak relationships, the city of Rictus was attacked by another kingdom named Grimore. Tears went down people's eyes, fire landed on each corner and everyone was murdered by cold blood. King Dalius II fled and sought safety in an old cave that was once rumored that it was keeping an old artifact. Yet, the rumor was true.

King Dalius II found this and named it the Arcanum. He went to city of Rictus and used it against the kingdom of Grimore. The opposing team were easily defeated and were banished from their territory. With the remaining survivors, the king remade their city using the power of the Arcanum, but, they were cursed into living a life with magic and changed their lives and their social classes forever.

In The Eyes Of Fate Series (Book One) "Don't even think about it." I stood frozen in place as he said those words from behind me, which sent shivers down my spine. The rain started running down my face as I started thinking of a way out of here. My body trembled in fear knowing that he could easily hurt me. I'm not strong against someone like him Thoughts raced through my mind as I tried to think of a way to get away from him. But there was nothing but endless trees around me. I blinked away the water running into my eyes due to the rain. My thoughts were disturbed when he suddenly spun me around to face him, his face just inches away from mine. "P-Please don't hurt m-me." I stuttered out. I tried to sound brave and not let my fear show, but my mouth betrayed me. His golden red eyes flickered with a hint of pain for a moment then back to a cold stare, "I'd never hurt you, never put you in harm's way and I'm never letting him take you from me, you're mine." He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. And ran. ~~~ Nora Brown, a normal adult, living a normal life. Moving away from home to start fresh and meet new people. Just going where life takes her. For millennia, humanity has spread across the stars, thriving on countless worlds. Among them, the people of Eridani and other distant planets have long awakened their martial bloodlines, cultivating soul power that determines strength, status, and destiny. In contrast, Earth is seen as the weakest of all human worlds-a barren cradle where no superpowers exist, and where the very idea of cultivation is dismissed as myth. What Earthlings do not know, however, is that every human in the universe carries a hidden martial soul. The only reason Earth remained powerless was its thin atmosphere, starved of spirit energy-an invisible barrier no one ever thought to question. That truth remained buried until the year 3005, when a strange accident awakened the latent bloodlines of eight ordinary high school students. Suddenly thrust into a reality beyond their imagination, they are invited to Eridani, the heart of the Martial World. But among the prodigies of the planets in the human realm, the Earth-born are mocked as trash, dismissed as weaklings with no future. Their struggles seem destined to end in humiliation-until they meet a humble "janitor." Behind his unassuming role lies a man of profound mastery and secrets, one who recognizes the students' untapped potential. Guided by his teachings, the eight must navigate ruthless trials, deadly rivalries, and hidden conspiracies that threaten not only their place in the Martial Continent but the balance of power across the stars. Will these outcasts rise from scorn to shake the foundations of the martial world? Or will they remain forever branded as the weakest humans in the universe? "Don't you get it? You know when you try to run away, punishment like this happens." he said teasingly, squeezing my chest. I gasped for air, I really didn't try to run away. They're overreacting! The wet noise coming from below, being penetrated in both holes by two men, while the third one just watch me. Synchronously the two men sank their teeth on both sides of my neck, drinking my blood as I felt them coming inside, their dick twitching inside of me, tingles shooting through my whole body from legs to arms. "W-Wait!" I tried to catch my breath but they kept thrusting, unevenly in and out, not giving me breaks after I just came with them. The sound of my butt in contact with their hips got louder and the motion became harder and faster. Almost passing out. The sudden pinch on my chest awakened me, I looked down to see a pair of hands squeezing them. "You'll be staying up all night for us baby. We have a lot to catch up on." He pulled my head toward his, collapsing our lips togethers. His tongue forced its way into my mouth, causing me to release my wet moans. "It won't be ending anytime soon so I hope you came prepared." peeking to the side I noticed the third one starting to stroke himself. I wanted to do if for him. Letting out a whine against the man lips, the third one looked up at me with lustful eyes. "This is a punishment, don't forget. You're not supposed to be enjoying this." he said. The trees of a park broke our locked gaze as the bus kept on driving. I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that I had stopped breathing the moment our eyes met. I had never seen such blue eyes before-and they glowed! A shiver ran through me. I had been too far away to make out the color of the man's eyes. "You're playing with fire Safania." "Good thing I don't burn." The last words he spoke before throwing me onto my bed sounded like a threat, but felt more like a promise. "You will." *** Don't get caught. Those are the three words Safania has lived by for the past five years. As a marked woman - easily identified by intricate bronze marks on her back and unpredictable special abilities - she has spent the past five years running from anyone who might exploit those abilities...especially the royal families who tortured marked women to build their empires. Starving, exhausted, and frozen, she collapses by the bank of a river just to wake up in her worst nightmare: the chambers of a prince. Prince Cassius is his father's first choice of his three brothers to ascend to the throne. He's smart, strategic, and stoic, unlike his corrupt and depraved brothers. There's just one problem: he has no interest in any of his proposed marital matches, and the King will only pick someone as his successor who he knows will carry on the family line. But once he meets Safania, he finds himself unable to imagine ruling the kingdom without her by his side. Can he convince her to trust him? *** Warning: this story contains mature and potentially triggering themes including domestic violence and sexual assault. Reader discretion is advised.
