The Smith Town Photography Contest
Ilene's best friend, Bethany, convinces Ilene to enter a photography competition. Ilene finds herself having a good time with her friends, Beth, Alex, and Graham, until a few complicated situations break out. Ilene's your typical girl, with a story that might just make you think a little more about your life and the people in it. Ilene: Ilene is an intelligent girl with plenty of time to spare, which she spends taking pictures. Photography is more than just a hobby for her, but she hasn't been able to take it seriously enough to try and get her photos out there. She has dark brown hair that falls to her waist, and wide glasses with tortoiseshell rims laced with blue on the inside of the frames. Beth: Beth is involved in swim team, art club, and is Ilene, or Ivy's (a childhood nickname of Ilene's) best friend. They've known each other for more than six years, and can pretty much read each other's minds from a glance. Beth has long brown hair, and is just a bit on the short side. Alexander. Alex is an active sports player, on competitive teams in basketball and football. He's also a black belt in karate, and the tallest kid in their class. He's usually pretty busy, but when he isn't he's almost always with Graham. Alex has short light brown hair, and is probably taller than you. Graham. Graham is a stereotypical moody teen who complains about a variety of things, ranging from art, how smart Ivy is, girls, or even the fact that he thinks all of the staff members at school are spying on him. He's a pretty odd kid. He likes Spiderman, and is a genius when it comes to dinosaurs. He has short dirty blonde hair and is the shortest kid in their class, even though he's the oldest. (So, I wrote this in ten days, because why not set myself a challenge? Also, sorry for the horrible name. The cover too-this is my first attempt at making a cover.
