Jacob goes through a journey of killing everyone who's done him wrong after a set of guys kill his family. Jacob loses control over his body when he allows a demon to come in and take over. Jacob sometimes have a problem with sitting in the dark and as to him he's talking to his other self "Princeton" To others he's just talking to himself. "Princeton" Is trying to help him and get back into his mind but with the demon in him it won't let him do what's right. When you later find out the demon is someone from the past and Jacob and is doing all he can to get out of him but the only solution sets the demon off making Jacob black out for a year and by the time he snaps out of it he's in the middle of nowhere running from the cops.

When the demon tries to get Chloe back, he only wants her by his side, being a demon with her, but he uses some type of "power" to make her think that. Readers getting interested, confused, well if you read this book you might understand more. If your into some gore, this is the somewhat perfect for you.
