It's been a year since Haruhi Fujioka started at Ouran Private Highschool. She managed to get in on her academics alone, because her father is too poor to pay for the tuition, she is on a special scholarship. Most of the school believes her to be a he and she is perfectly okay with that, because she doesn't follow stereotypical norms herself... that and she still has to pay that stupid Host Club back for their 8 million Yen vase that she broke by accident. Talk about holding a grudge! So her afternoons are spent entertaining blue-collar, filthy rich, socialist elite young women and working alongside a band of mostly bright (except Tamaki-senpai) young men who  have WAY too much time on their hands. Geez. You think that since this is Japan, they'd be more worried about their grades like the Honor student Haruhi! 

There is romance blossoming though in each of the young men's hearts for a certain woman pretending to be a man! And after meeting her father, they kind of understand her beliefs about genders!!! It runs in the family!!! Tamaki, Hikaru, Koaru, Kyoya, and Mori-senpai all seem to have feelings for their beloved Haruhi along with Kassonoda (the only guy outside of the main gents to know about Haruhi's little secret)! Only Honey-senpai really sees what is going on.. which is odd, because he's the Lolita Boy type, why would he know about the crushes when everyone else doesn't know? Even Renge  sees it, but she thinks it's all gay?! How does she not know that Haruhi is a girl yet?!
