Maya is an average eighteen-year-old girl. That is, when you leave out the fact that her parents died in World War III, leaving her a home in ruins, a large amount of money, and her know-it-all little sister Gabrielle to take care of.
Not to mention, that the Earth is a mess. Humanity has wrecked the world far past recovery...or has it? Maya sees an apocalypse clearly on the horizon. But she has a plan to trick Mother Nature out of destroying her world...a powerful potion called Earthscænt.
Everything is almost ready to put the plan in action...until Maya finds herself imprisoned in the untouched world Espherak, where humans aren't the most welcome of visitors.

Ica was 24 years old. She was rich, beautiful, and spoiled. Everyone loved her. She never needed to do anything by herself. When she was sad, people rushed to cheer her up. When she cried, her family panicked. She liked cute dresses, soft pillows, and sweet food. Her smile had a small dimple that made her look like a doll. One day, Ica was lying in a warm bed, wearing a golden face mask, listening to music with her eyes closed. But when she opened her eyes again... she was not in her bathroom anymore. The ceiling was broken. Smoke filled the air. The floor was full of dust, glass, and bones. She had no idea how it happened. She had fallen asleep in her rich and peaceful world... And woke up in a destroyed one. The world had ended. Monsters walked the streets. People were dying. It was the apocalypse. But even this scary world seemed to treat her differently.
