Inspired by true events.
'Foolgirl' follows the arduous story of James Timpson, an aspiring author with dreams going above and beyond the usual life expectancy of a working-class resident of Midford. Yet every constant in his life has been torturous: bullying, isolation, and worse than all, his next door neighbour: Foolboy.
All names and places have been changed as some scenes are dramatised and should not be seen as a reflection on any person or place that may be the inspiration.
This is still a very early draft and is largely uploaded to gauge interest from my friends. There's still probably glaring errors and it is a work in progress. This is also the first story I've really put out there, so nervous is an understatement.

Life is full of surprises! Especially in high school, where love can come from unexpected places... This is my story (well, part of it, anyway). It's a story about growing up in a small town, about the friends I made and the friends I lost, and the events (both legal and illegal) that shaped me into the person I am today. This is a true story; naturally, some parts have been embellished, had names altered to protect the "innocent," and some incidents have otherwise been fabricated entirely. The story about us
This story is based on my real-life experiences, though I must admit - I'm not entirely sure how real-life stories are usually written. Since this is my first novel, I'm still exploring how much one is allowed to modify the truth while telling their own story. The journey begins from my school days and continues through my college life - the phase where it all began, and eventually, where the love story seemed to fade. Will this story have a happy ending?
