Have you ever heard about "binukot"?how they live?what are they?who really are they?And most importantly do they exist ?
However,binukot is confined, secluded it is a Filipino cultural practice that secludes a young person usually a young woman with the expectation that seclusion will result in a higher value placed on the individual by marital suitors in the future. The practice originated in the Philippines . It is mostly practiced by the panay bukidnon people, who keep women from the public eye beginning in childhood.
Furthermore,a secluded or confined young lady will no longer permitted to step down to the land as this will hurt their feet.A binukot can't be seen by any one especially men.Binukot is treated as a princess as they are mostly a daughter of datu or Raja (one of the most powerful people in the Phillipines they treated as a king).
This story is all about a girl who named Allina the daughter of Raja Madul and hara (hamra is the wife of Raja also known as the queen) liyana.Allina is a very lovely girl with a kindest heart she often visits the "ulipon" (begars,servants and peasants).she was loved by the ulipon and respected her as the next hara of the province.Until one day raja madul and hara liyana plan to make her as binukot as it will keep her safe against the enemy.
