In a world divided by seasons, where faeries live in peace, Earee, a child of winter, was born in spring. A loving mother and a loyal friend were all it took for her to forget the cold, but the cold was slowly creeping up on them. With the Fae Tree destroyed it was only a matter of time before all the world she knew collapsed.

Earee had no interest in being a hero. When an opportunity to take part in a quest for an ancient relic that could restore their dying world landed on her lap, she didn't hesitate to send other faes as her replacement. However, when no one returned alive, and a miracle of life occurred to her, she's left with no choice but to take the quest herself.
