I think it's hard to sum up this book so I'm just going to say this:
Tate meets Joan and there's something about her that fascinates him. That's how it starts. And as simple as that, he wakes up in the middle of hurricane. Bad stories from the past and bright infinities in front. A shirtless guy and a blue-eyed girl meet. Breakfasts and talks, climbing trees and walking on curbs. Libraries, lightning-struck trees, old houses and midnight wanderings. Cold, cold, dead, dead bodies and blue, blue eyes. And stories. Lots of stories. To tell and to be told. More than anything, growing up. There's a whole lot of that. And in the end nobody is the same person they were when this thing started. I know I 'm not.
