He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school. The story about us
This story is based on my real-life experiences, though I must admit - I'm not entirely sure how real-life stories are usually written. Since this is my first novel, I'm still exploring how much one is allowed to modify the truth while telling their own story. The journey begins from my school days and continues through my college life - the phase where it all began, and eventually, where the love story seemed to fade. Will this story have a happy ending?
