••"She wiped the blood off her cheek, picking up her sword.

His eyes followed her blade as she pressed it against his neck.

Pierce never wanted to be involved in a war between werewolves and vampires and shit.
But she is.

Then she meets Sean. Sean is everything she wants, charismatic, handsome, protective... and he's her mate. Of course he's all she wants. Only problem- she can't let him have her neck until he's out of this war. And he's way in.

Sean doesn't understand why Pierce isn't involved in this war. It's for a good cause. Saving werewolf kind and that crap. And as the Alpha of Mitu, he has a duty to his Pack to fight.

And suddenly his lips are pressed on mine, my shirt falling off my shoulder. I tangle my fingers in his hair, sliding my tongue between his lips. He let's out a half moan, half growl, and presses me back against the wall. We break apart for a few seconds, leaning our foreheads against each other.
"Well crap." Sean whispers, his dark eyes swirling.
"What?" I whisper, pushing my hair back.
"I..."
"Sean-"
"No. Let's just forget the world for a few hours, yeah?"
"Yeah." I whisper, and his lips meet mine again.
