Drugs, music fairs, sex, and alcohol are just some of the coping mechanisms for a messed up girl's messed up life. Born to two hippie parents that are stuck in the 60s, 16 year old Grey Riverbell is a 'junkie' runaway after she had enough of her parents constant abuse, the parents that got her on drugs in the first place.

After hitchhiking around for a couple of years, she stumbles upon a bar in Tennessee. She decides to try to make a quick buck in poker, which she was pretty good at, and through pure luck wins $500 when she saw right through the tall long-haired moose-like man's poker face. Grey thought she could sleep well knowing she would actually be able to eat that month, but her sound mind was broken by a- THING- staring at her in her sleep. One sentence.....
