Lana Roth suffered from Myelofibrosis, a rare disease that disrupted her body's production of blood cells. Her case was far worse than most and her days were numbered. That is, until doctors created a cure and she became the first patient to receive it. After injecting the cure into her body, she fully recovered and could finally have the life of a normal 17-year-old. 

Unfortunately, the delayed effects caused her to be anything but normal. 

Her usual amber eyes lost their color and turned a soft gray. Her tanned skin paled and her body craved the blood it so desperately needed. 

The doctors found out the cure's effects and alerted the government, wanting to eradicate all evidence before it had the chance to get out to the public. Now Lana must hide for her life or risk dying due to the very thing that saved her.All Rights Reserved
