Her hair softly flowed from the scalp of her head as she walked towards him. He felt his heartbeat, and he was sure that she could hear it too. Her eyes were a cascade of different colors changing every second, her footsteps were soft on the padded ground, barely heard over the sound of crickets chirping.
My teacher told my class to write a story that was like 'A Rose For Emily' and this is what I wrote. The two requirements for it was we had to have long sentences and it had to have a twist at the end.

I looked up from our hands to his green eyes, taking in the blueish specks of his irises, with a hint of hazel mixed, surrounding his pupil. We stared at each other for a minute, me admiring how close his proximity is and how the tingly sensation of his hand on mine felt good. "No I don't." Dominic groaned out, looking down at my lips and then back up at me. "No you don't what?" I leaned in a little, suddenly feeling drawn in to his green eyes and awaiting lips. ------ Ryler didn't expect to fall for him so soon. It only took her 2 days for her to realize how much she truly cares for him. Only 2 days for her to also realize it was a mistake. Only 2 days for her to feel heartbroken.Complete
