Her hair softly flowed from the scalp of her head as she walked towards him. He felt his heartbeat, and he was sure that she could hear it too. Her eyes were a cascade of different colors changing every second, her footsteps were soft on the padded ground, barely heard over the sound of crickets chirping.
My teacher told my class to write a story that was like 'A Rose For Emily' and this is what I wrote. The two requirements for it was we had to have long sentences and it had to have a twist at the end.

Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
