By unknown means and for unknown proposes the planet Earth is ripped from its orbit around the sun and placed in a near perfect, synchronized orbit around a mysterious purple star. The Earth isn't alone; 16 other planets underwent the same ordeal. Dubbed the Papuru Star, the G4 sized ball of energy was viewed with fear and awe by the inhabitants of the kidnapped worlds. The leadership of the planets form an uneasy Coalition to understand what the star is and find a way to put the planets back in their original spaces. Now, over a 1000 years later, the 100th annual Coalition Carnage Competition is about to begin. Held every ten years, the year long, galaxy spanning martial arts tournament is the special event the inhabitants of nearly every planet eagerly await, cheering their planet's chosen champion. The tournament is fame and fortune for the superstars who compete, entertainment for the masses, and "blessings" for the winning planet but holds dark secrets within its shadows, secrets that if exposed, could lead to the destruction of all life within the Papuru Galaxy.All Rights Reserved

A young girl is brutally abducted by a bloodthirsty grizzly, forcing a group of scientists to mop up a genetic engineering operation that is out of control, threatening any and all who enter the woods. One question remains: are the animals really dangerous for no reason at all or does their enhanced intelligence simply make them recognize something damning about human nature that needs to be understood before it's too late? Harmonious coexistence with an emerging highly-intelligent species competing for dominance over the earth or total destruction of humans and animals alike? Those are the two options now. Two groups of scientific researchers are sent to a forest where bear attacks are frequent in order to study what is happening only to find themselves attacked and outsmarted (in part) by the animals themselves. Two environmental action groups also find themselves at odds over the fate of the dangerously genetically-enhanced creatures. One group wants to see the beasts wiped out completely and the other wants to preserve them at all costs, even at the expense of human life. The two sides are locked in an impasse, unable to resolve their differences in an amiable way which leads to ever-increasing tension, animosity, kidnapping and murder. After D'Sam's death, a follow-up operation was successfully carried out and Minah recovered. Conflict emerged slowly when Minah began to remember, find and compile the puzzles made by D'Sam which ended in her death.
