Hello. My name is Henry. Yes I am Asian. I have one thing that makes me stick out from the crowd. 
I was born deaf. 
Now I know that doesn't mean much. Well actually, it does. I was born without the ability to hear noises, sounds, hear the newspaper page flip. I was born without the ability to hear my mother talk. All these things most people take for granted. 
I found people don't judge me online. I met this girl. Ah, she is my best friend, but she doesn't know. How do you think she'll react? Maybe she won't accept me anymore. This is my story.

"Treasure what're you doing awake by this time". I heard my mum voice trailing behind. I shivered,I knew perfectly the rules of not being awake by this time. I would only get scolded at and maybe my phone seized. But it's not really my fault for wanting a distraction from my messy life. I just couldn't take it anymore,I was tired of thinking of my life I was tired of blaming God for the circumstances before me. Sometimes I feel like a burden and sometimes I wished I was never born. I was then sent to regular public school and I love it, the sounds of the students talking. Being able to be a regular person, well, as close to regular as I can be without talking. My name is Rosalyn, I've never breathed a word. Silence is easy when all you can give are ASL signs and not many people understand them. I'm just like everyone else. I have a celebrity crush.
