Eight years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Serpens Cygnus Riddle the only son of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange, makes his way to infiltrate the Ministry. His plans to rebuild his father's empire are great. What could he say? He was a Slytherin after all.

Though building an empire was not as easy as his father made it seem. Serpens had to blend, mingle, and befriend the twats that all had a hand in Voldemort's demise. Even Perfect Potter, who would now become his boss in the Auror Office.

There were two things getting him through the day. The first was the dream of making the Riddle name become a thing of fear once more. The second was that he had someone to plan with. Draco Malfoy had been the closest thing he had to a friend in his school days, and as it so happened was glad to help Serpens with his plans. Even though their egos often clashed, they were always on the same page.

And so the second Riddle sets out on his grand adventure to achieve what his father never could.
