The fan fiction story below takes place during the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Towards the end of the story, Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to a very different Hogwarts. The school is under the control of Snape and some very dangerous Death Eaters. Neville, along with Ginny and Luna, have restarted Dumbledore's Army and have led a student rebellion against the administration. Neville, in particular, is very much changed. I have always wanted to know the story of the seventh year at Hogwarts that Harry didn't get to experience. I particularly wanted to see Neville's character evolve into a leader. Below, I have written the first chapter of this story, from Neville's perspective.
