Mature
All his life, Ambrose was taught by his family, that being a homosexual was a sin.

They preached and primed him, and his brother until it was stuck inside their skulls.

Homosexuals would go to hell, and they'd burn for eternity, for their selfish indulgences in sin.

If helped, they could overcome their homosexuality with gods help; but Ambrose didn't want help.

Ambrose wanted to be himself. He wanted to love who he chose to love, even if it hurt or angered the ones around him.

Too bad Ambrose wasn't strong enough to do it.

He lacked in courage, and that's where Cody comes along to make up for.

Will Cody be Ambrose's savior from the raging fire they call hell or his earthly lullaby?

Reserved and private, Jon is rocked with a glitter bomb of queer affection when he collides with former crush, Kurt. Jon's an introvert. Kurt's an extrovert. Jon's never had a boyfriend. Kurt's hooked up a hundred times. Jon's devoutly Christian. Kurt said 'f*ck you' to the whole charade of religion that left him hurting and homeless years ago. Kurt's out, rocking his queer identity loud and proud onstage. Jon is...well, it's complicated. He thought he'd made peace with his sexuality, but his role caring for children in a Christian not-for-profit group home doesn't permit him to have a gay relationship. Jon's so stretched carrying full-time school and full-time work, he needs his housemate and best friend, Cary, to remind him to eat. Where would he even find the room for a six-foot tall, fabulously queer boyfriend? When Kurt shows up on Jon's doorstep, hungover and more fragile than he appeared under the spotlights, something has to give. Tentatively rekindling their romance in the nitty-gritty of their adult lives, Jon and Kurt have everything to lose and everything to gain if they take the risk to hold each other close. ☆Featured on the Wattpad @FreetheLGBT and @NA reading lists!☆ Straight/Gay/Bisexual/Trans/Demisexual/Ace. Cis/queer romance. Diverse cast. Found family themes. Christian, LGBTQ2A affirming parents. Christian, LGBTQ2A affirming church. All Roses Have Thorns

2 parts Ongoing Mature

All the Flowers are picked, the soil is bad. The sun is struggling to shine- yet. It did- stuck behind a big cloud if you looked hard enough it was there. 6 months changed bishops life. Changed the way he saw the world, saw love, changed him. In the past two years all he did was try to replant the garden- it had finally started growing. He had gotten back to what felt like could be normal- then someone stopped to smell them. All while someone else was still cutting them down. Josiah was way to smart, to smart to be doing what put him back in jail. But yet here was- he stuck to what he knew, stuck to the box the world put him in and used it at his advantage. Could he be doing better? Of course. Could he go places? Yes. But instead he always stopped to smell the white roses that were painted red. Did he ask why they were red? No. Did he ask who painted them? No this is the streets ask questions like those and you won't smell shit again. Be careful what you do, even something so pretty can cause you harm.
