Winter, Phil decided, was the worst season. Everything seemed so... Dead. The harsh wind rattled the bones of the trees that had been stripped bare, the city no longer buzzed with life, even the birds ceased to sing their sweet tunes at the start of the new day. But for Phil, it was the true heartbreak that accompanied winter that made it so unbearable.
