Maladie Cain thought that the worst thing that could happen to her this year was the Winter Ball, or that her sister’s Slytherin boyfriend would try to make friends with her, or maybe her O.W.L exams...

Oh, how she was wrong.

With friends across most houses, she finds it hard to stay out of strife. In fact Maladie Cain literally translates to mischief and trouble. It also doesn’t help that her twin sister is in Hufflepuff and her older brother is in Slytherin.

Enter the room of requirement.

When the inquisitorial club corner her into the door that leads to anything, she goes through and finds herself lost in the stacks of forgotten items.

She doesn’t find the diadem.

She finds a pocket watch. A pocket watch that shows her the future and enables her to take a walk on the wild side.

And she thought O.W.L..S was the most challenging thing this year…
