Florence Carter has never known her father. The tales told by her mother are the only thing she knows of him, the only thing she has to hold onto.

In fact, Florence Carter is renowned for her strange characteristics; the way that she can run the 2000m against fully grown men without so much as breaking a sweat.The way she can hear things so far away, any "ordinary" person would completely miss it. The way she growls and the way she pounces.

But, Florence Carter was not a "normal" seventeen year old girl. 

She is not "ordinary".

Nevertheless, she wasn't even "human!"

In fact, some may call her a bit of an "animal"...
