Athena is in love with a boy.
***
Then I see him. He stands on the pavement, his backpack a permanent trademark on his slender figure. Slouching a little, (just a little) he gazes blankly at the rocky terrain of the road.
He looks so beautiful with the soft-hued tint of the huge canvas in the sky. I want so badly to have the confidence to just walk over and talk to him, but I just can't do it.
So, I just end up staring at him. Again, noticing the more delicate features on his face like the microscopic right cheek dimple I adore when he purses his lips as he waits for his mother.
It just went on like that for ages. Me just admiring his face and him standing alone and gazing downwards in whatever thoughts he indulged himself in.
It's okay. This is enough for me. It's more than enough.
