On the way to her brother's birthday gathering in the countryside of France, Lady Genevieve Greyhelm accidentally boards the wrong train. On board, she meets the Bellefleur brothers - Ian and Leon - who are on their way "to hunt" in the vast and dark forest of the small town of Alesandria.
  
  Once she arrives in Alesandria, Genevieve knows she should try to get back home, but her instincts keep telling her to stay and soon, she starts seeing flashes of memories she didn't know she had. Genevieve also can't help but want to follow the familiar voice beckoning her into the forest.
  
  Amidst these strange occurrences and the mystery of Alesandria's missing villagers, a darker secret arises and Genevieve must find the truth if she and those she loves wants to survive in a war that's over one hundred years old.
