When I was in pre-teennage years, I remember playing Pokémon on a daily basis--- to be the very best was my goal! Until I had to do homework... 

Anyways, I grew attached to certain characters throughout the years. Lance, Red, and others. My most favorite character of all time, however, was Natural Harmonia Groupious. Naturally (pun intended), it was obvious that I would have preference for him since his story was well concealed in the game. So after I stopped playing Black & White, I sort of found a relationship between me and the character. I am kidding, I just wanted to write him a back story that takes place in the forest. So enjoy!

Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away.
