Terror gripped my very being as it choked the breath out of me. I lifted the covers to peer at the closet and hid back under them. The image raced through my mind.
A figure, more like a shadow. I saw him or her inside my closet. I couldn't identified them because the light of the moon didn't reach my whole room.

I woke up sitting in a chair with my hands tied behind me and my head pounding, I couldn't see much of anything past myself under the lamp beating down on my head. I tried to look around it was no use the rest of the room was too dark, I could hear voices from outside the door but I couldn't make out what the two men were talking about, as I thought that the door opened a crack and I just could make out what was being discussed....
